Tempo Dance Academy is proud to announce our 28th year in the Nanaimo community. Classes at Tempo include Ballet, Pre-Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical Jazz, Tap, Modern, Acro & Musical Theatre for all ages 3 to Adults.

We are located in the North Nanaimo area, on the top floor of the Applecross Business Centre. Each year, the teaching staff looks forward to developing your child’s love of dance. Whether he or she is dancing for recreation and pleasure or pursuing a performing or teaching career, each student possesses unique talent and ability – precious gifts for us to develop.

We look forward to working with you and your children. Tempo Dance Academy aims to provide students of all ages and levels of experience and education in the performing arts by offering students the training needed in a varied and meticulous manner. We strive to give students the opportunity to perform and enhance their performing ability and, in doing so, instill a sense of self-discipline, pride, accomplishment, and understanding for the performing arts.
