Beware misleading and biased comparisons

So many times I’m looking for honest unbiased comparisons for different products and it takes hours to find, because most compare sites are created by companies specifically to give their own products better reviews over the competition, or biased based on which solution makes them most profitable. In the case of comparing website platforms, this is so bad that I had to speak up and spend some time documenting how manipulative the ones with the big marketing budgets are getting. Hopefully Google & Bing & other search engines will be able to do a better job in the future of only showing comparisons that are truly unbiased … but for now we need to beware misleading and biased comparisons.

@ourfingertips we are completely unbiased and we care only about what is right for each client – and no 2 clients are the same. We have much experience to draw on as we have used and continue to test what is most popular and we support our clients on every platform such as Joomla, Shopify, Squarespace, Weebly (Square), Wix, WordPress, and a few others. Our own website is built with WordPress and the vast majority of our clients decide to use WordPress – as do the vast majority of websites in the world.

Contact us and we will show you the pros and cons of each platform, answer your questions, provide you with options, and quote your solutions, so you can make the best informed decisions.

Comparisons we believe to be fair, educational, and worth reading are:

Squarespace vs. Weebly

Weebly vs. WordPress | Weebly vs. WordPress

Wix vs. WordPress

Shopify vs. WooCommerce | Shopify vs. WooCommerce

Shopify vs Wix vs WordPress – don’t mind the paid ads for Shopify that pop up and to the right which you can’t ignore as they follow you as you scroll down … and yet it is one of the very few that give WordPress an almost fare review.

FYI – the following is a sample of a comment we submit to websites we find where their comparisons are obviously biased … no surprise none have published our comment nor replied to argue nor changed their pages (see below list of links)

This comparison needs to be reviewed as it is biased and misinforming readers. This comparison is inaccurate and the wording is clearly biased towards Weebly – likely paid marketing. As the author of this website knows WordPress is better. WordPress is MUCH better than Weebly on every level. A WordPress stand alone install (not wordpress.com) with a theme that is being updated and supports WooCommerce and has a child theme and comes with basic needs plugins is MUCH easier to use for Editors & Shop Managers, is MUCH less expensive, has more customizations, works better and faster on all devices, requires less development expertise, … and SO MUCH MORE. Having helped many clients in Shopify, Squarespace, Weebly, Wix, WordPress, and a few others, I can assure you WordPress is far superior to the others which is why it continues to dominate the internet … as you know. Those who know use WordPress and easily rank higher than all competitors who don’t. If you know – you can’t possibly argue with me, especially considering this website providing this blatant lie … is built with WordPress, check for yourself: builtwith.com/websitebuilderexpert.com
